Pyohex Medicated Conditioner is formulated to kill cutaneous micro-organisms which primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis. Chlorhexidine gluconate, the active ingredient in Pyohex Medicated Conditioner, has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity against most bacteria that are commonly found in cases of superficial bacterial dermatitis. It binds strongly to the skin and coat, providing up to 14 days of residual antibacterial action after application, reducing the frequency of bathing.
