Description

The Filavac VHD K C + V vaccine is an inactivated bivalent vaccine for rabbits which can provide protection against both RHDV1 and RHDV2.

 

Filavac VHD K C+V is the only available vaccine that confers specific protection against RHDV2, the current predominant strain in Australia.  As such, it is the recommended vaccine for pet rabbits from 10 weeks of age.

 

Filavac VHD K C+V is not registered for use under 10 weeks of age, therefore its use is off-label.  Vaccination of rabbits in this age group must be done at the discretion of the veterinarian. 

 

FILAVAC VHD K C+V must not be used in food producing animals.
