MILA Fecal Management Systems are designed for collection and containment of liquid stool in canine patients. The system consists of a soft silicone rectal catheter retained by a low-pressure, air-inflated balloon and connected to a 2000 mL collection bag via an integrated collection line. By containing fecal output within a closed collection system, the device helps reduce environmental contamination, minimize exposure risks to patients and staff, decrease cleanup time, and facilitate monitoring of fluid losses. The collection bag incorporates volume markings, a sampling port, anti-reflux valve, and drain port for convenient patient management.
