Description
For the treatment of heart failure in dogs due to mitral regurgitation (endocardiosis) and dilated cardiomyopathy. For the treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in cats. For the treatment of chronic kidney disease in cats and dogs. Fortekor 5mg is a prescription ACE inhibitor used to treat chronic heart failure in dogs and chronic kidney disease in both cats and dogs. It contains benazepril hydrochloride, which lowers blood pressure, reduces strain on the heart, and protects kidney function by dilating blood vessels and improving blood flow.
