Description
Wound-Gard® is an antiseptic bitterant spray that also has antifungal activity.
Wound-Gard is an aid in the treatment of dogs’ and cats’ wounds, helping prevent infection and self-mutilation.

Wound-Gard contains chlorhexidine which is especially effective against gram positive bacteria and also capable of killing gram negative bacteria. It also contains phenoxyethanol which is especially effective against gram negative bacteria including seudomonas.
  • Anti-chew effect - Strong bitter taste helps dissuade the animal from licking the wound and biting at sutures.
  • Mild local anaesthetic properties - The menthol in Wound-Gard offers antipruritic, mild local anaesthetic and counter-irritant properties. This helps prevent selfmutilation.
