WHAT IS WEBSTERS® 3 IN 1 B12 VACCINE?
WHY CHOOSE WEBSTERS 3 IN 1 B12 VACCINE?
Prevents Tetanus and Pulpy kidney
Clostridial organisms of various types are commonly found in the environment and in the gut of healthy animals. When conditions are favourable for rapid growth they can produce powerful toxins. The effects of the toxins are usually fatal. Death occurs rapidly with pulpy kidney but may take several days to weeks with tetanus.
Prevents cheesy gland
Caseuous lymphadentitis (CLA or ‘cheesy gland’) is a highly contagious disease caused by the bacterium C. pseudotuberculosis (ovis). The incidence of cheesy gland has previously been estimated at 20% of the national flock. The disease is mostly associated with shearing and contaminated sheep dips.
Overcoming Vitamin B12 deficiency
An animal affected by a vitamin B12 deficiency may show clinical signs such as decreased appetite, reduced weight gain, loss of bodyweight, reduced wool growth, reduced milk production, lethargy and infertility. Supplementation of vitamin B12 in animals with vitamin B12 deficiency can increase appetite and feed conversion efficiency resulting in improved production.
