The MILA Tunneler for Esophagostomy Tube Placement is an ergonomic stainless steel instrument designed to facilitate the retrograde placement of MILA Length-Adjustable Esophagostomy Feeding Tubes. This technique improves the clinician's ability to quickly, safely, and efficiently position the feeding tube by allowing the distal tip of the tube to be manually advanced through the mouth and into the esophagus before the proximal end is tunneled through the neck. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the tunneler can be reprocessed and reused for multiple procedures.
