The MILA Tomcat Catheter is designed to simplify the management of feline urethral obstruction by allowing clinicians to unblock and drain the bladder using a single catheter. Unlike traditional two-catheter techniques that require one catheter for unblocking and a second catheter for indwelling drainage, the MILA Tomcat Catheter is intended to remain in place following successful catheterization, helping reduce procedure time, patient trauma, and opportunities for contamination. Manufactured from firm, flexible polyurethane that softens at body temperature, the catheter provides the rigidity needed for insertion while remaining comfortable during indwelling use. The movable suture device allows clinicians to adjust indwelling depth for each patient and secure the catheter without requiring a separate extension set.

The 25cm catheter length is the preferred choice for most feline patients. The additional catheter length allows for more secure catheter fixation and provides sufficient tubing to secure the catheter to the tail, helping reduce catheter pull-outs and kinking.
