The Stimpod™ Peripheral Nerve Block and Neuromuscular Monitoring System is designed to support both regional anesthesia and general anesthesia applications. For regional anesthesia, the Stimpod™ can be used for cutaneous nerve mapping with the Nerve Mapping Probe and for nerve localization using stimulating needles to facilitate peripheral nerve block procedures. For general anesthesia, the Stimpod™ can be used with noninvasive surface electrodes to assess the efficacy of neuromuscular blocking agents through objective neuromuscular monitoring. Real-time visual and audible feedback, waveform display, and customizable stimulation parameters help clinicians accurately identify nerves and monitor neuromuscular function.
- Designed for peripheral nerve block procedures and neuromuscular monitoring
- Supports both regional anesthesia and general anesthesia applications
- Regional anesthesia applications include nerve mapping and nerve localization
- General anesthesia applications include assessment of neuromuscular blockade using surface electrodes
- Adjustable stimulation current, pulse width, and twitch frequency
- Visual and audible feedback help identify probable nerve proximity
- Real-time waveform display of delivered stimulation currents
- Pause mode allows stimulation parameters to be adjusted without delivering stimulation
- Non-linear current adjustment for enhanced control
- User-programmable memory stores up to 20 current and pulse width settings
- Compatible with Stimpod™ accessories including the Nerve Mapping Probe, Tri-Axial Accelerometer, and Stimulating Echogenic Nerve Block Needles
- Portable system suitable for veterinary anesthesia applications
