The MILA Guardian™ Protective Foam Disc with Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) is designed to provide continuous antimicrobial protection around the insertion site of percutaneous devices. The foam disc delivers 360° skin antisepsis while absorbing exudate and helping inhibit or kill bacteria at the catheter or tube entry site. Clinically proven to reduce the risk of catheter-related infections, the MILA Guardian™ is ideal for use with esophagostomy tubes, surgical drains, hemodialysis catheters, and other indwelling devices where secretions, moisture, or prolonged placement may increase the risk of infection.


  • Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) dressing provides 360° skin antisepsis around percutaneous devices
  • Clinically proven to reduce the risk of catheter-related infections
  • Helps reduce infection risk by absorbing exudate and inhibiting or killing bacteria
