Description

The MILACATH® Single Lumen Small Animal Central Venous Catheter is designed for long-term venous access for administration of medications and fluids, blood sampling, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and central venous pressure monitoring. Constructed from a biocompatible, non-kinking, non-thrombogenic polyurethane material, MILACATH® catheters are designed for indwelling periods of up to 30 days. Available in guidewire and peel-away introducer configurations, each kit includes the components necessary to place and secure the catheter. Most catheter sizes feature a soft green tip to help minimize the risk of vessel trauma during placement and indwelling use.


  • Designed for long-term venous access with recommended indwell times up to 30 days
