The MILACATH® Quadruple Lumen Small Animal Central Venous Catheter is designed for long-term venous access when multiple therapies, medications, and monitoring functions must be performed simultaneously. The quadruple-lumen design features separate exit ports spaced along the catheter, allowing independent access through each lumen while reducing the need for multiple venipuncture sites. Constructed from a biocompatible, non-kinking, non-thrombogenic polyurethane material, MILACATH® catheters are indicated for administration of drugs and fluids, blood sampling, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and central venous pressure monitoring, with recommended indwell times of up to 30 days. The catheter features a soft green tip to help minimize vessel trauma and includes the components necessary to place and secure the catheter, including a MILA VuSite™ Window Dressing.
