Hexasol LA Injection for Cattle
Hexasol LA contains 300mg/ml oxytetracycline and 20mg/ml flunixin in a clear, dark amber solution for parenteral administration. For treatment of conditions caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in cattle where both an anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic effect is required in the 24 hours post treatment. Active Ingredients: 300mg/ml oxytetracycline and 20mg/ml flunixin
Indications: This product is indicated for treatment of conditions caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in cattle where both an anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic effect is required in the 24 hours post treatment. For the treatment of bovine respiratory disease.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage is 1mL per 10kg bodyweight (equivalent to 30mg/kg oxytetracycline and 2mg/kg flunixin). Additional NSAID therapy may be administered after 24 hours if required. Give by deep intramuscular injection in the neck region only. Volume at any one site should not exceed 10mL.
Withholding Periods:
MEAT: 28 days.
MILK: 30 days. Milk must not be fed to bobby calves during this time.
ESI: 28 days.
