MILA Heimlich Valves are one-way chest drainage valves designed to allow evacuation of air and fluid from the pleural space while helping prevent backflow into the patient. Available in both pillow-style and semi-rigid cylinder configurations, these valves can be connected to traditional funnel-hub chest tubes as well as luer-compatible catheters and chest tubes using the included adapters. This versatility allows the valves to be used with a wide range of thoracic drainage systems in both small and large animal patients.
