Description
Absorbable, MONOFILAMENT, purple, synthetic suture, swaged to a very high quality stainless steel needle. For single use.

• Composition: PDO - poly-p-dioxanone.
• Tolerance: excellent, no wicking effect.
• Smoothness: excellent.
• Flexibility: good.
• Knot security: good.
• Tensile strength duration: 28 days (65%).
• Absorption time: 180 to 220 days.
• High quality stainless steel needle and swage. Siliconised needle for greater smoothness.
• Indications: soft tissue surgery, hollow organ surgery, ophthalmic surgery. Ideal for at-risk patients (animals with diabetes, Cushing’s, cancer, etc.).
• Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
• Packaging: “race track” format ensuring that the suture will unroll without knotting and with less ‘memory’ effect; packed in an individual aluminium pouch with quick, easy opening system.
• Storage: 5 years. Use immediately after opening.
