MILA Esophageal Balloon Dilation Feeding Tubes (BE-Tubes) are designed for the palliative management of benign esophageal strictures while simultaneously providing enteral nutritional support in dogs and cats. By combining a feeding tube with an integrated balloon dilation system, the BE-Tube offers a single-procedure alternative to repeated balloon dilation procedures. The unique double-balloon design incorporates a compliant outer balloon surrounding a non-compliant inner balloon to support long-term, routine dilation of esophageal strictures performed at home by the owner. Constructed from clear, latex-free polyurethane, the BE-Tube is designed for extended use and ongoing patient management. Placement and operation of the BE-Tube require the MILA Accessory Kit (BE-ACC), BE-BIG60 Inflation Device, and an appropriately sized MILA Tube Passer.
