WHY CHOOSE CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD?
Contains moxidectin
Moxidectin is the most potent member of the macrocyclic lactone (ML) family of drenches, meaning it can kill worms resistant to ivermectin and abamectin.

Contains 6 in 1 vaccine
CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD is a convenient combination of moxidectin and five clostridial disease and cheesy gland antigens. It is ideal at weaning when a drench and vaccine “booster” are needed at the same time, and particularly for lambs and lighter hoggets between 15 and 37 kg.

Broad spectrum parasite control
CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD is highly effective against all major internal parasites that are susceptible to ML drench, including gastrointestinal roundworms and large lungworm. These worms can reduce overall productivity, especially in young animals. Weight gains and wool growth can be reduced signifi cantly. CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD also controls itch mite and nasal bot.

Persistent activity
CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD prevents reinfection with barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus contortus) for not less than 21 days, with Ostertagia circumcincta for up to 21 days and Trichostrongylus colubriformis and Cooperia curticei for not less than 7 days. Persistent activity is important when there is significant pasture contamination, as it can delay the need for subsequent drenching.

Unselenised
Excess selenium can cause toxicity issues in sheep. Where sheep are receiving sufficient amounts of selenium, it may be better to use an unselenised drench. If selenium supplementation via a drench is required, CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD 6 in 1 vaccine and wormer with selenium and vitamin B12 can be recommended.

Safety
CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD has a wide margin of safety when used as recommended, and is readily accepted by lambs and weaners. It can be safely used concurrently with other treatments including mineral supplements and fluke treatments.

Include Multimin in your animal health program
Use Cydectin Weanerguard concurrently with Multimin Plus Copper Injection For Sheep or Multimin Copper-Free Injection for Sheep and Cattle as part of your animal health program to supplement crucial trace minerals including copper, manganese, selenium and zinc to support vaccine responses in rams, ewes and lambs. DO NOT MIX products in the same syringe prior to administration.

CI. chauvoei EP 0361??IU/mL - blackleg
CI. septicum 2.5 IU/mL – malignant oedema

CI. tetani 2.5 IU/mL – tetanus

DOSAGE & DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CYDECTIN WEANERGUARD must be injected subcutaneously.
For animals 15-25 kg liveweight give 2mL subcutaneously
For animals 26-31 kg liveweight give 2.5mL subcutaneously
For animals 32-37 kg liveweight give 3mL subcutaneously
For animals above 37 kg administer at the rate of 1 mL/12.5 kg or use CYDECTN® EWEGUARD 6 in 1 vaccine and wormer for sheep at recommended dose rate.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS/ESI
Meat: 28 days
Milk: DO NOT USE in lactating ewes where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.
ESI: 28 days

STORAGE
Store between 2ºC and 8ºC. Refrigerate. DO NOT FREEZE. Protect from light. Once opened contents should be used within 24 hrs.
