MILA Blake Surgical Drains with Trocar are designed for closed wound drainage and peritoneal drainage applications. The fluted drain design allows fluid to move through multiple channels along the drain while directing suction to the proximal end of the channels, helping minimize tissue occlusion and reducing the likelihood of omental attachment. Constructed from soft, radiopaque silicone, these drains provide effective fluid evacuation while maintaining flexibility and patient comfort. The included trocar allows the drain to be exteriorized through a separate stab incision away from the primary surgical site, helping maintain a tighter surgical closure and facilitating drain management. An included luer adapter provides connection to collection bags for passive drainage and peritoneal dialysis applications, while MILA Surgical Suction Grenades can be used for continuous active drainage.
