MILA Atomizer/Throat Sprayer is designed to deliver topical medications as a fine mist to the upper airway and other difficult-to-access anatomical locations in veterinary patients. Featuring a malleable, wire-reinforced shaft for controlled positioning, the device supports targeted application of topical anesthetics and other medications prior to procedures such as intubation, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and oral examinations. By atomizing liquid medications into fine particles, the MILA Atomizer/Throat Sprayer helps facilitate topical drug delivery across a broad treatment area.


  • Atomizes liquid medication into 20–80 micron particles for topical application
  • 15Fr (4.7mm) tip × 15cm (6.5in) malleable, wire-reinforced tube
  • Designed for targeted deposition of medication
  • Priming volume of 0.2 mL
  • Use with a 3mL syringe for a minimum forecast distance of 10cm upon exiting the sprayer tip under 25kPa pressure
  • Forms a spray area with a diameter of no less than 7cm under stated use conditions
  • Suitable for topical medication delivery to the nose, throat, hypopharynx, vocal cords, larynx, and trachea
  • Designed for use before intubation, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and soft palate examinations
  • May be used to access difficult-to-reach anatomical locations
