ACTIONS
Bromide can modify CNS activity by replacing chloride intracellularly

For use in conjunction with phenobarbitone in the treatment of canine refractory epilepsy

CONTRAINDICTIONS
Pregnancy
Overdosage: Due to individual variability, overdosage may occur leading to excess sedation, ataxia, polydipsia. Bromide treatment should cease until signs disappear and then recommence with a lower dosage. If severe, effects can be reversed by the use of sodium chloride 0.9% intravenously.
